Rating: - * Extra work to make right... ... My experience was similar to others here, those who had trouble with the "flip-up part" of the glasses staying in place when manipulated to the "up position." I drilled a small hole into the back of the flip-part of the glasses, then ran a piece of floral wire(quite small, but strong) through the hole and around the axle-part of the glasses frame, then twisted it to secure the flip-part to the axle-part, thereby preventing the flip-part from coming off. Works like a charm, but required additional work to make it work properly without separating. I've been using them now for over a month and have yet to(knock on wood) have them come apart again. Rating: - * not happy ... Every time you flip them up the hinge holding the lens frame comes apart. I bought them to hang glide with but I will not use them for fear of the lens popping off at 5k ft. and losing it. Peter Rating: - * Good, inexpensive sports sunglasses ... I bought them for a trip to the Caribbean. It's nice to have three interchangeable lenses for different conditions. The lenses are pretty prone to fingerprints and smudges when you try to change them, and the lens tends to fall off after a few flips. Overall the sunglasses feel a little flimsy, but are nonetheless very comfortable and quite stylish. The sunglasses also come with a travel pouch, which is convenient. Rating: - * Blah! ... The flip up mechanism keeps on falling off. Don't buy this. I had to return mine. Rating: - * Flip-Up Sunglasses keep flipping off ... Neat looking sunglasses. Good lenses. Big problem: lenses keep separating from the framework when they are flipped up and down. |
