Rating: - * Takes a licking and... ... ...keeps on working? Well, that's what happened. I've had this little flash drive for over a year and used it to transport data back and forth between my home and work computers. One day I realized I'd misplaced it, and was horrified to find it on the bottom of my washing machine. I had apparently left it in a pocket and it went through the wash. I didn't bother to try the soggy drive, figuring it was ruined, so I put it aside for a week or so. However, when I later plugged it in, I was thrilled to see it seemed none the worse for wear, and neither was the data that was stored on it. That was back in July. Great little inexpensive, solidly made storage device. I just ordered three more.... Rating: - * review of kingston data traveler ... you get what you pay for. i saved a whole ton of info on this only to get to a client's office and was able to retreive only half of my files. it is not a viable cost-effective option and i'd rather spend a lot more $$$ on a USB traveler if I know it's going to work. Rating: - * Works good ... well, this worked great for the short time i had it, lots of space, no U3 junk, and transfer rate wasn't bad. I changed my pc case, so i badly conected the usb connectors on the mother board, plugged this jump drive in and it got fried. had to order a new one, but still a great product!!! Rating: - * Great product ... I have been using this flash drive for a while now and never had a problem with it. It does really help. I recommend it. Rating: - * Awesome value ... This is an awesome deal for a 2GB flash drive. The Kingston is very reliable, durable, and portable. I've never had any problems. |

All three principals sing eloquently and with a fine sense of the opera's structure and context. Anna Tomowa-Sintow is in even better voice than Domingo, and Giorgio Zancanaro heads an expert supporting cast. The Covent Garden Chorus, directed with distinction by Michael Hampe, gives a memorable impression of the revolutionary mob. Julius Rudel's conducting is totally idiomatic. --Joe McLellan

Lotfi Mansouri spared no effort or expense in making this production special. He personally directed the staging, and handpicked an outstanding cast (right down to the very young and then-unknown Ben Heppner in the small role of Hervey). The visual elements--sets, costumes, and camera work--are also handled with great care, and Sutherland's positive response to this dedication can be sensed in her performance as the unfortunate wife of King Henry VIII. James Morris is best-known as a Wagnerian singer--perhaps the leading Wotan of our time--but he is equally at home in many of the villainous roles that are the fate of bass- baritones (Iago, Scarpia, Don Giovanni). In this sinister tale of an innocent woman ruthlessly destroyed, he shows a surprising knack for the bel canto style. Judith Forst is also excellent in the role of Jane Seymour. --Joe McLellan
