Rating: - * Green Your Way To Fitness ... If you are a serious Yoga practicer, then you are probably very much into `green environmentally-friendly' products. The Natural Fitness (Yoga for weight loss) is the perfect and simplest way to obtain your goals. The mat is 24" X 69" X 1/8" thick. The traction is spot-on and the natural rubber is biodegradable. There are no toxic chemicals here. The kit also comes with a 6-foot long Hemp Fiber pesticide-free Yoga strap for all those stretching exercises. Finally there is the `block' which measures 9" X 5.5" X 3.5" and is made out of natural cork. It's strong and sturdy and will help with all those Yoga resistance exercises that are needed. It's a great `green friendly' kit and will last as long as you practice. Green keeps getting better! Rating: - * Best kit for the price ... We purchased this kit (actually 2 of them) for our yoga classes over a month ago and don't have any complaints so far. When the kits arrived, mats had a rubber odor which is quite reasonable - we were buying rubber mats. It was gone in 3-4 days, we left the mats in the attic with windows open. Since they are made from natural materials (no PVC), both the mat and the block are a little bit heavy comparing to PVC ones. The mat is pretty thin (the description says 1/8 inch), so if you are used to 1/4 inch mat it might be a little bit uncomfortable to use this one for the first couple times. We were using it both at home (carpets) and in yoga studio (hardwood floors). It provides a very good grip and does not get slippery after an hour of exercising. On the carpet it slides a little bit and my boyfriend tends to slip when doing stretches (another reviewer has mentioned that) but I don't have this problem. I like the size of the mat, I'm 5'6'' and my boyfriend is 5'10'' and we both find the length comfortable. We haven't used the strap a lot yet but we find the block sturdy and less soft than the foam ones. We also like the DVD that came with the kit and were using it every day when not going to yoga class. I would recommend this kit, it would be a wonderful gift for a friend. Rating: - * Super nice Yoga mat ... This mat is perfect for my purposes--exercising on the floor. My previous mat was thicker and Very squishy. Not only did it not provide very good support, but it slid around a LOT on my laminate flooring. I would start a set of routines in one spot, and slowly scoot across the floor. It was a real pain having to stop in the middle of an exercise set, reposition the mat and then restart. Not so with this one! It sticks to the floor like glue! I can jump and bounce and carry on and this mat stays exactly where I put it. The dark side in the picture is the exposed rubber side, and I can't Make it slide when that side is on the floor. :) It smells pretty strongly of rubber for the first couple days, but dissipates pretty quickly after that. I've used it about 15 times over the past month and I can only smell it when my face is right next to it now. I can't say anything about the block or the yoga strap, but the fact that they were included was just icing on the cake. This definitely seems to be a top-quality item that I wouldn't hesitate buying again, but I doubt I'll need another one for years. :) Rating: - * Good deal ... This is a good deal overall. I wish the strap was longer. The first position that I tried with the strap, it was too short to use. I also needed not one, but two blocks for many of the positions that I was doing. The package seemed like a good deal, but I will have to buy a longer strap and another block. Rating: - * good yoga mat ... Hi.. I bought this product. It was delivered on the date mentioned and the yoga kit was good with a dvd for yoga. The block is strong and sturdy and the strap is good. The mat is also good , but u tend to slip ..(I have sweaty feet when I do yoga) and tend to slip on it when doing stretches...but the mat is of good size ..very comfortable. |

The real joy of the set, however, is nine NBA playoff games presented as they were originally broadcast and almost in their entirety. They last about 90-100 minutes with TV introductions and post-game interviews, but minus halftime, commercials, and some slower moments. The games include such absolute classics as the game in which rookie Magic Johnson started at center in place of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and the 1987 "baby hook" game against the Boston Celtics. If you're used to watching current NBA games you might be tempted to just skip to the end, but it's surprisingly rewarding to watch the game develop, to watch the game's superstars strut their stuff (or see a couple of 1972 reserves named Phil Jackson and Pat Riley), and to observe how radically the sport has changed over the years. Variable picture quality and technical glitches are unavoidable (even the 2002 game looks washed out), but this is the first time complete or nearly complete NBA games have been available in the home-video era, and they probably still look better than the VHS tapes you've been saving over the years. Yes, it'd be easy to argue about which games from the Lakers' long history should have been included, and the highlight videos don't have a ton of replay value, but the NBA Dynasty series is a major milestone in archived sports. --David Horiuchi
