Rating: - * Great Pedometer for Walking ... My wife bought this for me after our mechanical one died, and I really like it as it shows the distance walked in steps and miles, the calories burned, and the aerobic steps and distance. It also has a memory that shows the last seven days values for all of the above. The only weak point is that the safety clip, which is very necessary, as the pedometer is easy to drop from your belt, is virtually unusable, as it is very small and hard to clip to anything. I modified mine with a clip from a nametag and it works just great. You will have lots of fun with it! Rating: - * An excellent pedometer ... I've had this pedometer for a couple months now and have worn it every day (usually in my pocket) and really like it. It has motivated me to get more steps each day. It is much more accurate than cheaper pedometers that I have tried in the past. I like the aerobic step feature, the safety catch and the 7-day memory. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the face is quite easy to scratch. Just be careful not to carry anything sharp like keys in the same pocket. Rating: - * I really like it ... I found this pedometer easy to use and accurate. The only reason I give 4 stars is because it is not possible to turn it off Rating: - * Omron HJ-112 Digital Pedometer. ... I purchased two HJ 112 pedometers at a very reasonable price. They are easy to use and can be carried in a pocket or clipped to clothing. The display is clear and easy to understand. The set up instructions were clear and straightforward. Would definitely recommend for all types of users. Rating: - * Count those steps! ... In the interest of good health, (10,000 steps a day), and a healthy dose of curiosity about how many steps I am currently walking daily, I researched different types of pedometers. Those I had tried in the past from the drug store and a then a sporting goods store "kept resetting themselves", no doubt some movement of mine or brush by something; but, this rendered them useless. I ordered the Omron. The supplier must be close, as it was here in less than 24 hours. Better yet, it works well, has not reset itself once or lost my daily count, and has a safety strap and clasp to assure that you don't lose it if it comes detached with a bump. My only reservation is that it does not count the myriad single steps you take, like in the kitchen, but only begins counting after 4 seconds of walking. For all the information received and stored, its cost was reasonable. |
